Ramadan Mubarak! May the Blessings of this Month be visited upon you and your family! We want to express our sincere gratitude for your support of the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh during these difficult years, and we look forward to sharing this Blessed Month with you.

The Islamic Center of Pittsburgh will be open for Ramadan activities this year including:

Daily Salat, Community Iftar, Taraweeh prayers, I’tikaf, pre-isha reminder & JeoparDeen, plus Special Programs (Kids’ Fun Night, Teen Halaqahs, Fundraiser 4/9/22, Laylatul Qadr)

Guidelines

To maintain the safety of yourself and everyone in the community, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

1. Please excuse yourself if you are immuno-compromised, are having symptoms of illness, or are unvaccinated. Register for grab-and-go iftar and do not attend in-person.

2. No children are permitted upstairs or in the musalla unless accompanied by a parent and praying. There are dedicated areas and qualified babysitters for all ages. Children under 5 MUST be registered downstairs for babysitting. They will have fun activities for a good Ramadan experience in the masjid.

3. The Board of ICP will be evaluating the safety of Ramadan activities and ask for your patience and that you cooperate if changes need to be made. The Board and Staff of ICP reserve the right to limit attendance and refuse entry for anyone if necessary.

Iftar Options

The ICP will be providing options for iftar this season. If you prefer to pick up for safety, convenience, we request that you register in advance using this form.

There will be iftar in-person at the masjid as well.

Taraweeh Prayer

Taraweeh will begin each night 5 mins after ‘Isha. Children are not permitted in the prayer area unless they are praying. Babysitting staff and space are dedicated to this purpose.

Zakat Al-Fitr: 

Zakat al-Fitr is $13/person this year. Please pay early so we can guarantee timely distribution.
