The
Islamic Center of Pittsburgh is holding a halaqa every Tuesday
evening after 'Isha prayer. We are inviting all of you and your
families to this lecture series about the seerah of our Prophet
(sallallahu 'alaihi wa salam) . The lecture will be commentary
on several books of the seerah. Please join us for a deep
discussion . The halaqa will be led by Sheikh Atef Mahgoub.

This is just a reminder that
our Thursday Qur'an memorization class is still going
strong. We are inviting all of you and your families to
join us on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM for a program that
focuses on
Qur'an memorization, tajweed and proper
pronunciation. The program is open to all ages and all
levels, and participants will be awarded certificates as
they advance. One participant who has shown great progress
is an 11 year old boy who is about to finish memorizing half
of the last juz of the Qur'an and half of the
40
Hadith of Imam Al-Nawawi. Inshallah he will be
receiving a certificate soon. The class will be led by
sheikh Atef Mahgoub.
